He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neil and Mary Lane; and his sister Patricia Lane. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Barlow Lane; his children, Sally L. Hartley, Ryan L. Carter (Mickey), Katie L. Storke (David), Sara L. Leach (Scott), Tracey Mallory (Ashley) and Ashley Gray (Cathy); his brother Bob Lane (Wanda); his grandchildren, Carter Hartley, Will Carter, Harrison Carter, Graham Carter, Mary-Katherine Carter, Gordon Storke, Baylor Storke, Jud Leach, Parker Leach, Campbell Leach, Wesley, Ashby Storke, Kailey, Kamryn Gray, Nolan and Emerson Mallory; his mother-in-law Betty Ann Barlow; his sisters-in-law, Pudney Pitts (CJ), Betty Rae Johnson (Arthur) and Amy Whittaker (Dennis); and his close friend Rick Beale.
