She was predeceased by: her husband William Arthur Painter of Fredericksburg; her parents, John Campbell and Ester Hall Campbell of Staunton; her sons, Edward W. Painter "Eddie" of Fredericksburg and John L. Campbell "Johnny" of Staunton Va; her grandsons, R. J. Bogley of Damascus, MD and Toby Jo Diamond of Falls Church; her brothers, Harry Campbell of Staunton and Thornton Campbell of Staunton; and her close friend Nelson Carter of Fredericksburg.

She is survived by: her children, Larry W. Painter of Fredericksburg, Dallie V. Diamond (Jim) of North Carolina, Shirley A. Conley (Mike) of Dale City, Robin J. Morgan (Ken) of King George and Phyllis M. Bogley (Joe) of Michigan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
