He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, G. Cephas Brittle and Catherine Barrett Brittle; his brother Earl Thomas Brittle; his wife Dale Larkin Brittle; his siblings, Carolyn Boykin (Nelson) and Charles Brittle (Phyllis); and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Boykin, Thomas Brittle, David Brittle, Kimberly Eskridge, Carol Ferguson and Robin Hoagland. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
