He is survived by: his wife Austina; his mother Gladys Whitman; his son Brian Pickral (Cristen); his granddaughter Heather Pickral; his siblings, Allan Whitman (Linda), Cindy Lively (Chris) and Brenda Whitman; and his sister-in-law Valerie Ivanyshyn.
