He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks; and his siblings, Verlie, Jean Hicks, Dean and Martin Hicks.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene, Jerry, Terry Hicks, Charlotte Huddleston, Phyllis Fields and Delona Pugh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
