He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Maurice Peyton and Bettie Lou Peyton; and his sister Emma Purce. He is survived by: his wife Debora West; his siblings, Violet Davis, Phyllistine Peyton, Brenda Middleton, Bertha Bushrod, Donald Peyton, Jr., Sterling Peyton (Harriet), Marjorie Ashton (Avon), William Peyton (Valerie) and Joseph Peyton (Carina); and his close friend Connie Newman. He is also survived by 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
