She was predeceased by: her brother Gordon M Stanley III; and her children, Angela M Cannon, Dallas and Austin Cannon. She is survived by: her parents, Gordon M Stanley, Jr. and Doris P. Stanley; her husband Broaddus Cannon; her son Michael W. Cannon; her siblings, Carolyn Cogbill, Sandra Brown, Karen Kuske and Charles Stanley; and her grandchildren, Deon Cannon, Donovan Cannon and Natasha Cannon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
