He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Witt and Gernie Simmons Witt; his brothers, Russell, Jr., Danny and Michael Witt; and his stepson Darrell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Witt; his children, Dottie, Willard, Ernest, Genia and Lisa; his stepson Bill; and his brothers, Randell and Roger Witt.
