He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon James and Ruth Akers James; and his nephew Albert James. He is survived by: his wife June James; his daughters, Angela Kinsey (J. J.) and Susan James; his grandchildren, Jamie Sizemore (Jonathon) and Samantha Kinsey (Lucas); his brother Gordon B. James, Jr. (Grace); his nephew Marvin James (Wendy); and his niece Claudine James.
