He was predeceased by: his parents, William Levi Funk and Eula Beckner Funk; and his son Kenneth Ray Funk. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Olivia Walters; his daughters, Wanda Holland (Wills) of Boones Mill, Virginia. and Teresa Cottrell (Bobby) of Boones Mill, Virginia.; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Holland (Lorie), Michael Holland (Hillary), Matthew Holland (Heather), Amber Ross and Shane Cottrell.
