He was predeceased by: his close friend Reba Wood; his parents, Harry Barnhart and Lecta Bussey Barnhart; his son Harry Joseph Barnhart; his sisters, Hazel Fisher (Bill), Arvilla May (Elmore), Loleine Fisher and Dorothy Barnhart; and his daughter Carolyn Yaggi Barnhart.
He is survived by: his sister Catherine Landis (Fred); his children, Ellen Irons (Jim) and Stephen Barnhart (Beth); his grandchildren, Ashley Irons (Michael), Kristen Irons, Daniel Barnhart (Brittany) and Elizabeth Barnhart; his great grandchild Leah Barnhart; his close friend Johnny Bowman; and his friends, Martha Conner and Dale Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
