She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tony Whitlow and Mary Wood Whitlow; her husband Elmer Hartman; her son Johnny Howard Hartman; and her siblings, Oscar, Elliott, Hugh, Robert, Curtis, David, Marie, Eva, Effie May and Viola.
She is survived by: her siblings, Barney Whitlow (Freeda) and Mary Jo Rakes; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Whitlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
