He is survived by: his children, Michael Phelps (Montrea Davis) and Linda Phelps; his grandchildren, Donald Phelps Jr., Caprice Foster, Daniel Phelps (Kristin), Ebony Davis, Ashley and Josh; his siblings, Tezawell, Mary Ann, Kenneth, Shirley, Charlie and Eugene; and his friend Sonia Kasey.
