It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Coy Janney Jr. of Boones Mill, Virginia, who passed away on November 1, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy C. Janney, Sr. and Peggy Thornhill Janney. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Simmons Janney; his children, John Kevin Janney and Tonya Leigh Janney (Gray Turner); his siblings, Ronnie Lee Janney (Sarah Hartman Janney) and Linda Janney Dillon; and his granddaughters, Abigail Grace Janney and Emma Leigh Janney.
