Thelma Grace Bussard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Grace Bussard of Bolar, Virginia, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pinkney Sr. and Bonnie Marie Hevener (Rexrode); her spouse Dale Winston Bussard; and her siblings, George Hevener Jr., Thomas "Punk" Hevener, Henry Hevener, Marie Knapp and Mary Beverage.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Puffenbarger (Mike) of Bolar and Eugene Bussard (Dona) of Weyers Cave; her granddaughters, Melissa Ailstock (Eddie) of Bolar, Sara Puffenbarger of Bolar and Leah Puffenbarger of Bolar; her great grandchildren, Abigail Grace White (Corey) of Monterey and Amelia Rose Ailstock of Bolar; and her sisters, Rosa Waters of North Carolina and Ruby Swecker of Monterey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Obaugh Funeral Home - Highland County (8739 Highland Turnpike, McDowell, VA 24458). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
