It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mitchell Jay Lathers of Bolar, Virginia, born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Harris and Irene June Lathers (Pixley); and his brother Tracy Lathers. He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Lathers (Mackerer) of Bolar; his children, Crystal D. Cmar (Matthew) of Saltsburg, PA, Amy D. Lathers of Sewickley, PA, Jarrett H. Lathers (Marjorie) of Stafford and Aaron M. Lathers of Bolar; his grandchildren, Jack, Abigayle Lathers, Elliott Michael and Ethan Cmar; and his siblings, Steven Lathers of New Lebanon, NY and Jennifer Lathers of East Chatham, NY. He is also survived by family members include his wife of 49 years.
