He is survived by: his wife Katherine Griffith Cissel; his daughters, Jody Peebles (Ken) of Leesburg, VA and Janet Bradley (Mike) of Rockville, VA; his brother Alvin Cissel (Maggie) of Winchester, VA; his grandchildren, Dana McLane (Peebles), Ethan Bradley, Hannah Noone (Peebles), Caitlin Drown (Bradley) and Kendall Bradley; and his great grandchild Cora Drown.
