Though Lois may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William McCarty and Maria Merces McCarty (Mattie Pitta); her husband James E. Tapscott; and her siblings, Thomas "Teedle" McCarty, Donnie McCarty, Maxine Underwood and Sheila Tapscott.
She is survived by: her sister Jeanette Carter of Upperville, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home (1050 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
