John Frederick Harris Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Frederick Harris Sr. (Bluemont, Virginia), born in Gassaway, West Virginia, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Frederick Harris Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Bland Harris and Macel Ella Keener Harris; his siblings, Jenny Smith (Harry) and Virgil B. Harris (Diane); and his nephew Virgil Martin Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Kinney Harris; his children, Sally Wilfong (George) of Winchester, VA, Kathy Cohen (Jay) of Boyce, VA, John Harris, Jr. (Michelle) of Wasilla, AK and Peter Harris (Jeanna) of Harrisonburg, VA; and his siblings, George Harris (Martha) of Seneca, SC and Nancy Palmer (Joe) of Midland County, MI. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
