We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2025, at the age of 92, Jarvis Junior Cable of Bluemont, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Washington Cable and Cora Paralee Crisp Cable; and his brothers, Rev. Clifford Cable, Rev. Bobby Cable and Larence Cable.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Whetsell Pierson Cable; his daughters, Darlene Keresztenyi of Ocean Pines, MD, Irene Bentley (Rick) of Highland Village, TX and Denise Bailey (Joe) of Bluemont, VA; his sisters, Frances Shuford (Troy) and Doris McMahan (Daniel) of Marion, NC; and his grandchildren, Danielle Litardo (Alfredo), Erin Love, Tiffany Manning (Shaine), Casey Hamrick (Wesley), Daniel Bailey (Carla), Madeline Pierson, Luke Pierson and Rosemary Pierson. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home (1050 W Main St, Berryville, VA 22611). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Green Hill Cemetery (446 N Buckmarsh St, Berryville, VA 22611).
