He is survived by: his wife Janice Wiley Mercer; his children, Teresa Baker (Scott) of Boyce, VA, Shirley Riley (George) of Stephens City, VA, Samantha Spada (Paul) of Stephens City, VA and Michael Lenharr (Bonnie) of Bluemont, VA; his sister Betty Wiley of Berryville, VA; and his grandchildren, Steven Baker, Michael "Chip" Lenharr, Jeremy Baker, Angel Barnes, Clare Connor, Daisy Heavner, Abigail Heavner and Colton Heavner.
