We bid farewell to William Johnson of Bluefield, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2025 at the age of 74. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Johnson and Evelyn Mae Compton Johnson; his wife Peggy Loretta Putnam Johnson; and his brother Steven Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, William "T. J." Johnson (Robin) of Bluefield, WV and Michael Johnson (Jennifer) of Abingdon, VA; his grandsons, Zachary Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Jack Johnson and Zachary Epperson; his great grandchild Briar Epperson; his brothers, Danny Johnson of Bluefield, WV and Thomas Johnson (Lorraine) of Bluefield, WV; and his close friend Ruth Horton of Bluefield, VA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dudley Memorial Chapel (729 Virginia Ave, Bluefield, VA 24605). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
