She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart Ray and Gertrude Bernice Walker Dunavant; and her sisters, ShelbaJean Moore and Bernice Irene Thurston. She is survived by: her husband William Fred Yost; her children, Tamera Dawn Turner (Bob), Gregory Stuart Yost (Cathy), Brian Kevin Yost (Shannon) and Jeffrey Scott Yost (Caroline); her brother Tola Ray Dunavant (Jeanie); her grandchildren, Carmen West (Zach), Jessica Hurley (Chandler), Sydney Ferrell (David), Joshua Lee Tharp (Dina), Rodney Alan Tharp, Matthew Yost (Emily), Bradley Yost, Branden Yost and Nathan Yost; her great grandchildren, Breeanna, Braylen Tharp of Lillian, R. J., Laylaa Tharp, Hunter, Walker West, Evan Hurley and Emma Yost; and her grandsons, Joshua Tharp and Rodney Tharp. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
