She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Short and Linda Kay Childers Short; her son Shawn Austin Harris; and her grandparents, Jim, Erma Childers, Curtis and Margaret Short.
She is survived by: her husband Shawn Lane Harris of Bluefield, VA; her daughters, Emily Nicole Harris and Camryn Grace Harris; her sister Amy Short Burnette of Princeton; her parents-in-law, Barbara and Mike Harris of Bluefield, VA; her nieces, Paige Whalen (Jake) and Katelyn Beavers (Spencer Riesner); her great-nephews, Declan, Jase and Eli; and her uncle Nelson Short (Kathy) of Princeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
