Though Rebecca Sue may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca Sue touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Dickens and Carrie Lou Farmer Dickens. She is survived by: her husband Doug Dalton of Mudfork, VA; her sons, Christopher Shannon Dalton and Michael Matthew Dalton (Kathy); her grandson Douglas "David" Dalton II (Angela) of Tazewell, VA; her daughter Carrie Kathleen Vest of Bluewell, WV; and her siblings, James Wesley Dickens of Bluefield, VA and Kimberly Kay Palmer (David) of Bluefield, VA..
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (111 Maxwell Rd, Tazewell, VA 24651).
