It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin McKinney of Bluefield, Virginia, born in Herndon, West Virginia, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Raymond (Ivory Mae Shrewsbury McKinney); and his brothers, Marvin McKinney and Mason McKinney. He is survived by: his children, David McKinney, Norman McKinney (Tina) and Lillian McKinney of Princeton; and his sisters, Marie Reed of Princeton and Margie McKinney of Crab Orchard. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
