She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Rufus and Laura Louise Stimson Ashworth; her husband James Kenton Smith; her brothers, Samuel and Joseph Ashworth; and her granddaughter Shanna Angeline Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Evans; her grandson Chance Evans; her great grandchildren, Jayden of Bluefield, VA and Jayce Evans of Bluefield, VA; her niece Vicky Eggleston; and her nephews, Joe Ashworth Jr and Samuel A Evans.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Dudley Memorial to help with the incurred funeral expenses.
