Lois Collins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Collins (Bluefield, Virginia), who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Spence and Clara Spence; her brother Elmer Spence; her son Dale Collins; her brother-in-law Jerry Callebs; and her significant other Oscar Mullins.

She is survived by: her sisters, Mayme Collins (Dillard) and Elsie Callebs; her children, Debbie Lake (Sam), Dwayne Collins (Bonnie) and Tammy R. Collins; her grandchildren, Rebecca Cline, Derek Cline, Jeremy Collins (Jessica) and Jacob Lake (Beth); and her great grandchildren, Kaylea, Stella, Noah, Ava, Jace and Reece.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM.

“Lois was a very sweet lady! She came to church at Life Changers Christian Center and would always greet my Husband and I with a sweet smile and a hug. She always called us Ken and Barbie. I will always cherish our talks on Sunday mornings. She talked highly of her children and her grandchildren. She loved her family dearly. Lois will be greatly missed by so many here in Wytheville!
