She was predeceased by: her parents, James Boyd and Sarah Winebarger Marchant; her husband Ambrouse Buchanan; her children, Samuel, Danny Buchanan and Sally Lawson; her grandson Samuel Buchanan, Jr.; and her siblings, Adam Marchant, Stella Stevens, Margaret Dale, Freelove Patrick, Blanch Bange, Dave Marchant and William Marchant.
She is survived by: her daughter Rose Buchanan; her children-in-law, Connie Buchanan, Melissa Buchanan and Timothy Lawson; and her grandchildren, Vicky Meredith, Mark Lawson, Sarah Lawson, James Lawson, Michelle Hanna, Kristie and Justin Smith. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
