She was predeceased by: her parents, John Quincy and Julia Marie Mercs Adams; her husband Claude E. Stroupe, Jr; and her daughters, Selena Gap Stroupe and Amanda Gail Stroupe.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Marie Gibson (Richard Lee Gibson) of Bluefield, WV.
Julia loved all her cats dearly and each was a comfort and companion to her as she aged, therefore, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: 2nd Chance for Cats in Julia's memory.
