He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hancock Lazenby and Agnes Williams Lazenby; and his sisters, Elsie Jordan and Jackie Cruthfield. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Lazenby; his children, Sara Lazenby Lester (Moose) of Lewisville, NC and Todd Lazenby (Tiffany) of Summerville, SC; his stepson Heath Havens (Lori) of Bluefield, VA; and his grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Kate Lester, Madeline, Ella Lazenby, Caden Sellers, Bryce, Brennan and Mila Havens.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel (1231 W Cumberland Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
