He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. "Jack" Vencill and Mary Bostic Vencill; and his sister Portia Vencill Munsey. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Vencill of Pearisburg, Virginia. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
In honor of Steve's memory, his daughter, Barbara has requested that donations be made to a favorite charity or local church in lieu of flowers.
