With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen L. Kitts (Bluefield, Virginia), born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Garland L. Kitts, Sr.; her sisters, Libby Wimmer and Clara Ann Hoops; and her grandson Adam Garr. She is survived by: her children, Eddie Earls of Bluefield, VA, Alan Earls (Debbie Edwards) of Bluefield, VA, Steven Kitts of Bluefield, VA, Christine Brewster (David) of Bluefield, VA and Garland Kitts, Jr (Ashley) of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandchildren, Lisa Earls-Spoor (Matthew), Katy Mudgett (Keith), Shannon Earls, Jason Earls, Connor Kitts, Jonathon Brewster (Jessica) and Jordan Brewster (Rachel Hare); and her sister Ruth Osborne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in her name be made to Graham Presbyterian Church, Bluefield, VA, The American Heart Association or A Child Shall Lead Them Food Pantry, Tazewell, VA.
