He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Sr. Rogers and Carrie Casey Rogers; his daughter Teresa Harper; his grandson Robert Jr.; and his brothers, Phillip, Alonzo and James Rogers.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Harper of Baltimore and Tommy Lilly (Veronica) of Roanoke, VA; and his siblings, Callie Williams, Gladys James (Hollis), Evelyn Witherspoon, Barbara Adams, Dawnella Spellman, Elsie Shelf (Al), Theodore Rogers of Chicago, Charles Rogers of Iowa, Dr. Robert Earl Rogers (Betty) of Bluefield and Cleophis Rogers (Melva). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
