He is survived by: his siblings, Joe, John, Charles Strike and Dorothy Carte; his son-in-law John Tibbs, Jr.; his daughter Stephenia Tibbs of Tazewell, VA; his grandson Casey Tibbs of Bluefield, VA; his great grandchild Tyler J. Tibbs of Coburn, VA; and his pet Sam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
