She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kathleen and Roosevelt Proffitt; and her siblings, Donald Proffitt, Tommy Proffitt, Ralph Proffitt, Larry Proffitt, Jerry Proffitt and Darlene Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore Taylor (Ted); her sister Phyllis Poole (Jerry) of Princeton, WV; and her godchildren, Lisha Proffitt Richardson, Lorrie Proffitt and Jerry Proffitt, Jr..
