It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Louise Gilpin (Bluefield, Virginia), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Wade Gilpin; her daughter Carol Sue Gilpin; and her grandson Austin Blake Gilpin. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Kidd (Jonathan) of Arlington, TX and David Gilpin (Jan) of Bluefield, VA.; her grandchildren, Tyler Kidd (Alex) of Tomball, TX, Sarah Shenkir (Drew) of Mansfield, TX, Ryan Kidd of Arlington, TX and Hunter Gilpin of Longview, TX.; and her sister Helen Rose of Nitro, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
