He was predeceased by: his father Carl O. Whitt; his wife Peggy; and his sister Delores Sawyers. He is survived by: his son Scott Whitt (Sara) of Bluefield, VA; his brothers, Doug Whitt of Charlotte, NC and Danny Whitt (Bonnie) of Leesburg, FL; his grandsons, Michael Whitt (Katie), Matthew Whitt (Alexanna) and Ethan Whitt; and his great grandchild Addilene Whitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Don's honor to the Springville Christian Church.
