He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell and Ella Rose Hall Taylor; his wife Nancy Ovella Holbrook Taylor; and his siblings, Richard, Howard, Joe, Bill, Arvella Asbury, Thelma Osborne, Mozell Turley and Nelcene Holbrook.
He is survived by: his daughter Carleen Meadows of Bluefield, VA; his siblings, John Taylor of Ocala, FL and Peggy Thompson of Max Meadows, VA; and his grandchildren, Gene Meadows of Bluefield, VA and Tabitha Meadows of Bluefield, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
