He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl C. Gillespie and Elizabeth Ambler Gillespie; and his sister Elizabeth Gillespie Maas Olson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Matthews Gillespie; and his sister Ann Marshall Gillespie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, law partners and good friends.
