She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Sheppard and Alana Pearl Shrader Sheppard; her former husband Nunley; her husband Frank Aldridge; her daughter Regina Snapp; her siblings, Claremont Logan, Launa Williams, Wallace "Buddy" Sheppard and Lowell Sheppard; her grandson Chad Roper; and her sons-in-law, Steve Roper and Ken Erickson.

She is survived by: her children, Donnie Nunley (Patricia) of Mudfork, VA, Deborah "Tootsie" Simmons of Texas, Diane Roper of Coopersville, MI and Angie Whitt (Barry) of Pounding Mill, VA; and her grandchildren, Donnie, Jr. (Erica), Rhonda (Greg), Alissa (Cecil), Renee (Ian), Kristen (Thomas), Sandi (Rich), Stevie, Christina, Philip (Emily), Kayla (Brad), Holly (Matthew), Frankie, Jan and Detra (Stevie). She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home (232 Ben Bolt Ave, Tazewell, VA 24651). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
