He was predeceased by: his father Homer Sherman Ruffin; and his sister Paulette Agnew. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Eloise Ruffin; his wife Deborah Seibert Wauson; his daughters, Lesley Cook of Williamsburg, VA, Amy Pent of Orange, VA, Wendy Johnson of Winchester, VA and Suzanne McHale of Yaphank, NY; and his brother Phil Ruffin of Allen, TX.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 4 nephews.
