She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouses, Lowell Thomas Harris and William Woodrow Slocum; her sons, Charles M. Harris (Chuck) and David L. Harris; her siblings, Thelma Lipford Smith, Nelson Beverly Lipford and James Walker Lipford; her sons, Tommy (Tammy Harris) of Stuart, Nelson Harris of Shacklefords, VA and Mark Harris of Blacksburg; her sister Beverly L. Yeager of Martinsville; her daughter Linda (Joe Porter) of Martinsville; and her grandchildren, Amanda Aiken (Jeremy) of Oxford, NC, T. J. Harris (Tyler) of Henderson, NC and Brooklyn Martin of Stuart. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to One Accord Baptist Church, 3630 Kings Mtn.
