She was predeceased by: her parents, Yule Gorman and Sarah Frances Gray; her husband Herman P. Adams; her sons, Wayne Adams (Buck) and Herman P. Adams Jr (Butch); and her grandchildren, Charles Thompson, Rhonda St and Infant St.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rochelle A. Graham of Salem, Barbara A. Huffman of Blue Ridge, Jean A. Sanders of Vinton and June A. Thompson of Buchanan; her daughter-in-law Carol H. Adams of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Sonya G. Mason (James), Kim S. Wright (Kevin), Richard L. Kristi, Craig Roman St, Dena M. Priddy, Jeffrey D. Morgan, Kevin Thompson, Lisa Shilling (Lewis) and Amy McMinnis (Billie); and also, Tracy W. Sloan and Chastity W. Loan. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
