He is survived by: his wife Heather Ann McCurley Garnett; his son Dakota L. Garnett of Blacksburg; his parents, Kenneth W. Garnett and Elizabeth A. Keeney Garnett of Vinton; his sister Kimberley; his brother-in-law David Rose of Roanoke; his nieces and nephews, Ryan M. Bell, Corey R. Rose and Emily P. Bell; his sister-in-law Debbie Bell (Kevin) of Salem; and his father-in-law David C. McCurley (Linda) of Stewartsville. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
