She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Burris and Esther Bell Burris of Mount Pleasant, NC.; and her siblings, Floyd Burris and Willene Burris James. She is survived by: her children, Lewis B. Medlin Jr. of Vinton, VA, Deidri Medlin Williams of Blue Ridge, VA, Charles W. Medlin of South Western, VA and Gina Medlin Sumner of Winder, GA. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
