She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert "Hub" O. Adkins; her daughter Susan Leigh Adkins; and her siblings, Hazel Price Bolejack, Mildred Price McFarland, Marion "Jimmy" Price, Rupert A. Price and Walter "Squeeky" Price.
She is survived by: her brother Jerry L. Price (Sara); her daughter Elva Adkins Adams of Martinsville, Virginia; her sister-in-law Christine W. Adkins of Collinsville; her son Truman Adkins of Fieldale, Virginia; her stepgrandchildren, Susan Adams Oliver of Chappaqua, Dr. William C. Adams of Cary and John R. Adams, Sr. of Midlothian, Virginia.; her grandchildren, David P. Adams (Michelle Griffith) of Albuquerque, Margaret Adams Joback (John) of Leesburg and George A. Adams (Kimberly Frost Adams) of Galax, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Evan Adams of Galax, Michael Adams of Albuquerque and Allison T. Adams of Galax; and her close friends, Holly Kozelsky of Martinsville and Nami Arita of Ibaraki. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
