He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Wheeler and Margaret Brown Wheeler; and his children, Lewis C. Wheeler, Jr. and Jennifer Sue Mills. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McDaniel Wheeler; and his children, Gary Wheeler (Mary), Mark Wheeler (Cindy), Pamela Conner (Clyde) and Rebecca Dawn Price (Arthur). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
In keeping with the COVID-19 guidelines and regulations, the family will receive relatives and friends with a parking lot "Drive Thru Only" visitation Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 5 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
