It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Williams Wortman in Blue Ridge, Virginia, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Emory and Thelma Scoggin Williams; her half-sister Betty Taylor; and her brothers, Jack and Bill Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur (W. J.); her children, Debbie Carter (Richard) of Berryville, Sandy Bruner (Roy) of Hamilton, Kim Adams (Dave) of Philomont and Scott Wortman of Alexandria; her grandchildren, Michele Normoyle (Bob) of Dickerson, Erin Bruner of Atlanta, James Bruner (Emily) of Charles Town, W. Va and Chloe Adams of Philomont; and her daughter Jane. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
