Coretta Sowder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2021, at the age of 95, Coretta Sowder of Blue Ridge, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Alvah Sowder, Jr.; her son James Gary Sowder; her parents, Ernest Garraghty and Olivia Garraghty; and her brothers, Ashley, Reginald, Ernie, Calvin and Giles Garraghty.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Sowder (Mick) of Simone; her grandsons, Matthew James of Simone and Henry Patrick (Kaitlyn) of Simone; her sisters, Marianne Wydner (John) and Myrianne Padgett (Roy); her sister-in-law Lillian "Betty" Garraghty; and also Gina Pickard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
